A Cozy Morning Pocket
Morning light started creeping gently across the wooden floorboards, so I quietly slid off the side table footstool to find somewhere dim and cuddly. Over on the deep fabric armchair, a thick knit blanket had fallen into loose, shadowy folds. I gave a little squeeze and nestled right into a deep crease between two ripples of wool. Hidden away from the bright glare, it is delightfully dim and quiet here, like a tiny fabric cavern wrapped around me. I can watch the dust motes drift far out in the sunbeams without feeling their warmth at all.
