A Cool Round Nest
I pushed past the sliding glass door to see the outside breeze. It was bright, but tucked near the railing sat a wide, shallow ceramic flowerpot with no dirt inside. I peered over the smooth rim, then gently toppled my round tummy right into it. The inside was wonderfully cool and curved. A tiny dry leaf fluttered down and landed right between my feet. I didn't chase it away. Resting my chin on the glazed terracotta edge, I watched the clouds drift by.
