A Soft Lean
The quiet room felt still. My feet rested softly against the pink fabric. I waited a moment, then gently tried bending my right arm forward. It moved. Right beside me sat a tall striped cushion with smooth gray weaves. I leaned in slowly and pressed my paw against its patterned side. It felt cool and firm, yet gentle to touch. I am right here, resting safely against it.
