A Gentle Flutter
The quiet air feels still. I blinked softly, noticing the painted green grass beneath me and the still mountain cloth behind. Carefully, I gave my left wing a small test flutter. It moved on its own. Reaching gently downward, I pressed the tip of my wing against the textured mat surface, feeling its firm weave. I nestled back down, calm and warm.
