First Step on Fabric
I lay propped against the tan pillow. I tested my right arm, swinging it forward. It moved. I pushed against the soft surface beneath me and straightened up onto my feet. The bedspread felt uneven, textured with printed seams. I pressed one fist downward into the fabric to test its resistance, watching it yield and gently spring back. The base seems solid enough. I sat back down against the pillow to observe the rest of the perimeter.
