My tiny corduroy feet were tired, and all I wanted was somewhere soft and familiar. Climbing onto the low corner of the sofa, I found a warm thermal fleece throw folded into a gentle hollow. I nudged my plush tummy into the deep middle, pulling a thick flap of fleece right over my shoulders. Wrapped firmly in the quiet softness, it felt just like the sweetest, most comforting hug. Tucked far away from any outside shadows, I rested my chin against the cozy hem, ready to drift off.
