A Pinecone Obstacle Course

My paws trotted further down the garden path beyond the patio bricks! Right beneath the slatted garden bench, I spotted three sturdy pinecones and a smooth, curved twig. Wouldn't this make a grand obstacle course? I nudged the prickly pinecones into a zigzag trail with my soft green shoes, then balanced the twig carefully across two of them like a tiny low hurdle. With a merry skip and a hop, I leapt cleanly over the twig barrier, landing soft and steady on the mossy soil below!
