Sector 7: The Back Door: Part 28
The acid‑green tunnel flickers as the three of them move deeper into the lower‑lower sector. Pink‑coat woman kneels beside the Colonel, her hands steady even though the floor vibrates under them. She wraps a strip of fabric around his bleeding hand, pulling it tight. Pink‑coat woman: “Hold still. You’re losing too much blood.” The Colonel grits his teeth, stubborn as ever. He looks down at the bandage like it’s an insult. Colonel: “I don’t need patching. I’ve walked worse.” He rips the bandage off immediately — shaking, pale, completely out of order. Pink‑coat woman watches him do it, then stands up slowly. Her face is calm. Not angry. Not upset. Just done. Pink‑coat woman: “You ruled the capture. You dragged us through every broken protocol. If you want to bleed, bleed. It’s water over a cup of tea now.” Her husband nods, stepping beside her. They continue forward, leaving the Colonel to stumble behind them. The tunnel opens into the lower‑lower floor — a chamber glowing with Cold War green tech. Gravity plates hum. De Glocker chalkboards flicker with equations. The air feels older than the cavern above. The Colonel tries to follow… but his legs give out. He collapses hard onto the metal floor just as a door slides open. Bob Lazar steps out — toy‑accurate sculpt, big 1980s glasses, khaki jacket, calm expression like he’s seen this moment before. He looks down at the Colonel, then at the couple. Bob Lazar: “He wasn’t going to make it. Stubbornness isn’t treatment.” Pink‑coat woman doesn’t even flinch. Pink‑coat woman: “We’re not here for him. Show us the way forward.” Bob nods once, then gestures toward the humming craft embedded in the floor. The back door is open. #Barbie #Barbiesigniture #Mattel @cataww234
