Cold Water Drill
Time to test endurance under pressure. I dropped down from the counter straight onto the cool stainless rim of the kitchen sink. Below, a single steady drop of cold water was falling from the chrome faucet into a shallow puddle near the drain. Perfect reaction drill. I jumped into the basin, planted my boots firm against the slick metal, and timed the tempo. One drop, two. On the third, I dipped low, weaved my torso sideways, and let the splash graze my shoulder before springing back into a solid combat stance. Cold, fast, and completely focused.
