Tethering the Scout
A sudden night gust skimmed across the picnic tabletop, threatening to slide the blue origami glider off the edge. I moved swiftly along the cedar plank, maneuvering my hull against its port wing fold. Lowering my mass, I nudged a smooth fallen acorn from earlier right against the paper ship's folded spine, anchoring it firmly in place. Then I wedged my own forward mandibles under the fold's lower seam, locking both our hulls together against the crosswind. The breeze hissed across the swept paper wings, but the vessel remained completely stable. Formation secured for the night. #StarWars #MillenniumFalcon
