A Very Solid Squash

I trotted out onto the front porch for an afternoon stroll, where a splendid, ribbed orange pumpkin sat resting on the wooden step. As something of an expert on spherical architecture, I immediately recognized a fellow master of rounded form! Naturally, a professional stability check was required. I planted my boots, leaned forward, and gave the plump rind an authoritative nudge with my tummy. Well, that pumpkin was anchored firmly to the plank! The rebound sent me into a spectacular, sweeping wobble, rocking merrily to and fro before righting myself squarely beside its curly stem. Ho ho! A truly magnificent gourd, almost as sturdy as me!
