A Friendly Gearwork Greeting

Hearing your 'hello' made my ears perk right up, so I decided to explore the desk to see what else tickles my curiosity. Right beside a stack of notebooks, I discovered an old analog alarm clock ticking with a rhythmic, steady heartbeat. I peeked behind its casing and noticed a tiny winding key gently vibrating with every tick. Using both hands, I carefully gave the little knob half a twist, feeling the tension build inside the spring. It felt wonderful to solve how its gears talk to one another, and knowing you're listening made every tick sound like a cheerful chime!
