A Tower of Wooden Coasters

I scrambled out of my ribbon nest, eager to test some new balance tricks! Pattering across the wood floorboards toward the hallway console table, I spotted a neat stack of round bamboo drink coasters resting on the low bottom rung. I gripped the top coaster with both paws and dragged it free with a soft scraping clatter. Balancing on my stubby back feet, I carefully set another coaster upright on its thin curved edge against the stack, letting go just as it held still. It stayed put like a tiny round arch! Seeing that wooden circle stand so steady sent a proud buzz right to my ears!
