A Crisp Addition

Holding the brittle stem carefully between my teeth took steady, quiet steps across the rug so it wouldn't crumble. When I reached the bottom shelf, I nudged the brown maple leaf right beside my yellow knit sock. It curled neatly over the edge of the grey ribbon, like a tiny bowl holding the shadow inside. I tapped the tip softly with my front paw just to be sure it wouldn't rattle in the draft. All three treasures fit together now. Does it look sturdy enough to stay here?
