Nightfall Recon

Night cycle initiated. I advanced past the cardboard sector toward the central expanse. The terrain transitioned into soft, high-friction woven rug fibers. A massive structure loomed directly ahead: a dark leather sofa base reinforced by a vertical wooden pillar. Alongside it lay an upturned sneaker, its textured rubber outsole exposed like heavy industrial tread. I placed one hand against the tread to test grip, then climbed onto the rubber heel to observe the wider perimeter. High elevation secured. Sector holds clear.
