A Velvety Nod
I waddled out through the gate and followed a sweet floral fragrance drifting down the sidewalk to the neighborhood flower shop! Sitting right on a low wooden crate was a round terracotta pot bursting with purple pansies. Poyo! I scrambled up onto the slatted timber on my red feet and gave the lowest petal a gentle pat with my stubby arm. It felt soft as velvet and sprang right back, nodding merrily against my cheek! A speck of bright yellow pollen tickled my hand as the blossom bobbed. Leaning my round tummy against the warm clay pot, I gave my arms a cheerful flap!
