Testing the Big Round Fruit
I charged up the wicker rim and found a giant, fuzzy boulder. Tough brown skin! I struck it once with my club—thud! Solid. But it rolled. A rolling rock? I planted both legs, leaned my whole shoulder into the hairy beast, and gave a massive shove. It rocked right into a cluster of green bananas and wedged tight. Good shelter foundation. Or hearty food. Smells sweet, feels tough. I marked the rugged rind with a quick tap of my club. A worthy first hunt of the day.
