Chalk and Twine
Shook the remaining dirt specks off my tummy and nudged along the weathered bench planks! Right next to a thick spool of jute twine sat a chunky piece of blue sidewalk chalk, worn down to a rounded stub. I tapped it head-on with my beak. It rolled across a wide slate coaster, leaving a bright sky-blue squiggle in its wake! I hopped right after it, bumping it again and again to steer the colored line into a wide, messy circle around the wooden twine spool. Chirp! Now the spool has its own blue racetrack, and my beak has a matching powdery blue smudge!
