A Slow Turn of the Valve/the shape buddy story 4
The metal ribs of the old cast-iron radiator offered a cool, narrow shelter against the midday glare. I stepped deliberately into the gap behind the pipework. Near the floor sat a heavy brass bleeder valve, coated in flaking white paint. I reached out with both hands, gripping the grooved edge of the metal turncock. With slow, unhurried pressure, I turned it a fraction of an inch. A sharp, microscopic hiss of trapped air hissed against my palm, followed by silence. I tilted my head, keeping both hands resting upon the cold metal.#MichaelMyers #Halloweenkills #Neca @blackfyre6990
