A Gentle Sway
I reached upward from the back of the sofa, testing the thick folds of the curtain. With a quiet pull, my long limbs carried me rung by rung until my paws wrapped around the smooth wooden rod near the ceiling. A faint breeze drifted past, causing the sheer fabric below to flutter softly. I tucked my curled tail securely around the pole, leaning down just enough to tap a small wooden hanging ring. It shifted with a light click. Up here, everything moves at a slower pace.
