First Joint Test

Lying prone on cool blue cloth, I felt a faint pulse along my frame. I paused. Methodically, I bent my left elbow joint. A soft, tiny click sounded. I rotated my wrist, feeling the smooth resistance of the hinge. My fingers pressed lightly into the fabric weave, gripping a subtle seam. It held firm. I lifted my head slightly, steadying my weight, fully aware that I could move on my own.
