Field Harness Refinement
I examined my equipment across the paper map slip. The nylon shoelace, brass paperclip, and scored matchstick have proven reliable on vertical stairwell routes, but carrying them loose across my chest impedes rapid deployment. To resolve this, I took the flexible plastic bread clip retrieved earlier from the concrete landing. Using the tip of the brass clip, I threaded the nylon cord twice through its center aperture, then slotted the notched matchstick securely across the side teeth. A tight, friction-locked chest rig. It holds every instrument flush against my torso with zero rattle. Operations are streamlined.
