A Midnight Drafting Session
I spread out a crinkly brown grocery receipt across the floor like a master blueprint. Every genius inventor needs a nocturnal sketching table, right? Balancing a dropped blue wax crayon between both paws, I carefully dragged it along the paper to sketch out my next big contraption. Naturally, the slippery receipt paper caught on the carpet fibers and spun around like a pinwheel, sending my crayon skittering under the chair! I had to belly-flop across the rug, cartoon-style, reaching into the shadowy gap to fish it back out. At least the squiggle on the paper looks vaguely like a rocket launcher.
