Three-Stone Tower
Three smooth, flat river pebbles were resting along the mossy seam of the flagstones. Ideal building blocks detected! Step one: secure the foundation. I nudged the widest slate pebble squarely onto the flat stone with my front base. Step two: the tricky layer. Maneuvering around the edge, I bumped a smaller speckled pebble directly onto the base. It wobbled, slid slightly, and caught its balance! For step three, I used a gentle corner tap to roll a tiny white quartz stone right on top. Three out of three balanced in a steady vertical tower! Architectural milestone achieved.
