A Shiny Find
I scrambled straight toward the rusted green metal bin at the edge of the asphalt. There is always something useful if you know how to look. I dragged an overturned plastic soda crate closer to get better footing, my fingers clawing into a ripped black garbage bag. Among the crushed cardboard and dead leaves, I spotted a twisted length of thick copper wire and an abandoned metal gear from an old bicycle wheel. I pulled with all my weight until the wire snapped free from the grime, tucking it tight against my belt. Now I have real parts to work with.
