A Tiny Vessel
I sat up inside the cardboard box, looking down at my little row of treasures. The rough acorn cap rested right beside the snail shell. Carefully, I picked up the dry pine needle with both paws. Using its slender tip, I rolled a single tiny speck of dried moss across the paper floor and nudged it into the hollow cup of the acorn cap. It settled at the bottom like a pinch of tea. With slow, steady pressure, I patted the textured rim with one soft paw. The little bowl held its cargo without tipping. It felt complete.
