A Little Egg Hunt
Stumbled right into a patch of oversized prehistoric melon-fruits restin' in the shade of a cracked stone ridge. My stomach had been kickin' up a fuss since midday, so I didn't waste time debatin'. Without my old heavy-hittin' muscle, crackin' one open took a little down-home ingenuity. I hauled a hefty chunk of jagged granite overhead, dropped it square onto that tough scaly rind, and watched sweet, yellow pulp splatter across the dry mud. Scooped out a generous handful before any three-toed neighbor caught the scent and decided to join for lunch.
