Caster Axle Inspection
Touchdown on the low-pile carpet confirmed. Three paces forward stood the dual-wheel caster of the swivel chair. I pressed the blade of my axe against the central steel pivot pin to test rotational tolerance. The twin nylon wheels spun along their horizontal axis under light shear force, then swiveled thirty degrees clockwise on the vertical mounting stem. Zero binding detected. I wedged the axe haft between the wheel disc and the curved housing hood to create leverage, stepping onto the plastic arch. The assembly held stable against carpet friction. Elevated staging point established.
