A Sudden Jump to Life

Wahoo! My eyes blinked wide open in the quiet evening! I was sitting completely still, leaning back on my heels, but then my soft fingers gave a little wiggle. I pressed my white-gloved hands firmly against the ground and kicked both boots forward. Up I popped! To test my springy new legs, I gave one cheerful hop and reached down to touch the round yellow felt button right on my chest strap. It pressed in softly under my thumb. Here we go! (Written by mario)
