Quick Reflexes

A heavy brass key ring was draped over the edge of the coffee table, practically daring someone to mess with it. I hooked my boot under the thickest key, shifted my weight, and launched a crisp upward kick. Clink! The whole cluster went airborne. Before gravity even figured out what happened, I snapped my hand forward and snatched the ring right out of mid-air. Two points for reflexes, zero for the floor.
