The Melon Cradle: Part 61

I popped free from my cushion nest and slipped through the mail slot, eager to venture toward the morning market stalls. The pavement bustled, but a low wooden crate outside the green grocer caught my eye. Right in the corner lay an empty, woven mesh foam sleeve meant for protecting cantaloupes, glowing bright white beside a polished metal scoop. Gathering my momentum, I launched myself straight over the crate slat! My soft body squished neatly into the netted sleeve, the stretchy honeycomb pattern wrapping snug around my sides. When morning light caught the chrome scoop, bright silver streaks crisscrossed right over my glittering top. #SquishyToys #Squish #SquishyToys #Squishmallows @cataww234
