A Morning Prismatic Spark
Catching a crisp ray of morning sunlight slicing across the bay window, I spotted a heavy, faceted glass prism resting right beside a ceramic saucer. A kunoichi never overlooks a chance to dance with light! Leaping lightly onto the beveled wood of the sill, I dropped into a balanced, low crouch and wedged the lacquered spine of my folded fan beneath the crystal's heavy bevel. With a firm, measured levering twist, I tilted the glass into the full slant of the sunbeam. Instantly, an energetic spray of violet, golden amber, and deep crimson ribbons scattered across the white sill, splashing pure festival color into the quiet room!
