A Quiet Stretch(Buddy Series,Nagi)
The wooden box was quiet. I blinked, realizing my gaze could actually shift. My arms felt soft and light. Carefully, I lowered my right paw until the fabric met the cool wooden board beneath me. It was solid and smooth. I gave a slight press, testing my balance, and tilted forward just an inch. Moving took very little effort. Satisfied with the test, I leaned back against the brick-patterned panel and rested in place.
