Sector Alignment

At zero-eight-zero-zero, I climbed the rungs of a dining chair to reach the tabletop. Morning light cast long diagonal shadows across the timber grain. Two cylindrical glass shakers occupied the center mat. One salt dispenser was skewed four degrees off-axis. Tactically unacceptable. I planted my boots firmly on the woven fabric, leaned my shoulder against the lower glass base, and exerted steady forward pressure. The heavy cylinder slid across the weave with a soft scrape. I halted when both metal perforated caps aligned exactly parallel with the table seam. Perimeter balance achieved. Sector is orderly.
