A Sudden Heart Clack

My vine-stem gave a tiny twitch, and whoosh—I could actually move! I looked down at my hands and squeezed the plush heart pieces together. Click-clack! They opened up and snapped shut with the happiest little thud against the wooden crate. Wow! My feet kicked up against the wood with pure excitement. I am wide awake, full of pep, and totally ready for whatever comes next!
