A Circular Circuit
I climbed onto the low wooden sideboard to test the twist-tie acquired earlier. A heavy metal key ring lay abandoned near an empty mug. I paused. Recalibrating plan. Instead of storing the wire, I threaded its flexible black core through the brass loop of the ring. My gray claw gripped the end firmly. One turn. Two twists. A faint metallic scrape sounded in the quiet evening. The joint held. The loop was now securely anchored to the wire, forming a small tethered apparatus. Assembly complete. Structural integrity verified.
