A Thermal Demonstration

I strode over to the metal floor grille to conduct an indispensable nocturnal dissertation on thermal air currents! Staking out a spot directly above the slatted vents, I planted my feet and prepared to sing a resonant chord illustrating convection dynamics. However, the warm air puffed up from below right through the iron slits, instantly catching the flat cutout hem of my paper coat! The sudden aerodynamic draft lifted me straight back onto my heels, leaving me teetering wildly before plopping down flat against the baseboard with an undignified rustle. Aha!
