A Bookmark for Bug Studies

I waddled back inside through the door crack because my arms were tired from holding heavy garden tools all afternoon! Inside the quiet living room, I noticed a huge thick book resting flat on the bottom wooden bookshelf. I scrambled up onto the shelf ledge and peered at the colorful picture on the cover—it showed giant leafy trees and beetles! I wanted to keep it marked for my serious entomology studies tomorrow, so I hunted around the dusty wooden corner until I found a sturdy brown cardboard tag with a twirled string. Pushing with both hands, I wedged the cardboard slip right between the thick paper pages, leaving the string dangling out so I will never lose my place!
