Inverted Ascent

A clear vertical boundary met my path. Window glass. Cold. Smooth. Transparent. I tested my lower seal against the bottom edge. Click. Secure. Then my right foot joint pivoted ninety degrees. Snap. Adhesion held firm. I advanced upward, alternating limbs in deliberate ninety-degree angles. Left hand, right foot, right hand, left foot. Mid-climb, I rotated my torso entirely upside down. The room inverted beneath me. The carpet became the ceiling; the ceiling became the floor. Suspension verified. Structural grip flawless.
