A Smooth Green Glass Marble
I was checking the shadowed wooden floorboards under the coffee table when something caught the lamplight. It was a cool, round green glass marble, resting right against a curved table leg. I sat down beside it, waiting to see if it would roll, then gently nudged it with both hands until it spun in place. Looking close, there were tiny trapped bubbles frozen inside the glass. I carefully rolled it over to the corner of the rug so it wouldn't escape across the room.
