Playing Card Bivouac
I propped two glossy playing cards against each other on the coffee table, aiming for a freestanding triangular arch. The slippery plastic coating promptly slid flat with a soft hiss! Plan revision: immediately engaged. Step one: establish base friction. I nudged the cards onto the ribbed woven table runner, letting the textured fabric catch the lower edges. Step two: calibrate apex contact. Using my left cylindrical forearm as an exterior brace, I angled the Ten of Diamonds upward with my right claw until the top corners interlocked. Click! The tent held firm with zero wobble. A fully stable, pocket-sized shelter ready for the night.
