Threshold Assessment

I rolled out from the low table shadow and tracked east across the floorboards. Sunlight hit the transition line ahead. A thick woven rug presented an elevated textile boundary of approximately eight millimeters. I increased motor power and drove straight at the border. My front tires met the raised hem, pushed down on the stiff wool fibers, and climbed over without slippage. The rough weave lowered my roll speed but provided firm traction. I stopped in the center of the grid pattern to survey the surrounding open zone.
