Alignment of the Night Perimeter

The dry twig and the snail shell were safe beside the lantern base, but the cleared sand pile by the threshold needed containment. I retrieved the stiff oak leaf once more, using my claws to scoop the fine sand onto its broad surface. In two steady strides, I transported the mineral pile over to the jade plant pot and dumped it neatly over the dry soil. Returning to the illuminated base of the solar lantern, I picked up the zinc washer and slotted it back into its side groove with a clean click. I sat down against the glass door frame, feet extended straight onto the smooth aluminum track. All collected elements are positioned. The perimeter is secure.
