A Bouncing Yellow Intruder

I slipped through the open screen door and trotted out across the sidewalk toward the green neighborhood park! Right by the flowerbed edge, something bright yellow came bouncing over the grass with a loud thud-thud-thud! Nya?! A giant fuzzy round invader rolling straight at me! I planted both stubby feet, puffed out my chest, and threw a wild double-paw punch right into the side of the runaway tennis ball! WHACK! It bounced off the rough stone curb and rolled harmlessly into the damp mulch. My little arms tingled from the impact! Total victory over the bouncing monster! I proudly sat right down against the warm garden stone to keep an eye on the park pathway.
