Sunbeam Tuning
I shoved my way through the heavy balcony curtain and burst into the open air! The morning sun was beaming down like a stadium spotlight right onto a wooden clothes drying rack. Instead of making noise, I stopped dead in my tracks—a tiny patch of rough sandpaper and a plastic clothespin were wedged under the rack's leg! I dropped down, wedged my guitar neck into the clothespin's metal spring clamp, and gave the rough peg a fierce buff with the sandpaper grit until it snapped into perfect alignment. A roadie's work is never done, but now my rig is razor-sharp for today's gig!
