A Small Blue Felt Stamp for sprinkles
A tiny square of blue felt had drifted beside a discarded envelope on the floor tiles. I paused, watching the faint hallway light illuminate its fuzzy, notched edges. Instead of nudging the stiff paper aside, I shuffled around the white envelope and leaned my round plush body right against the tiny felt square. Resting my nubby arm gently across its soft, pressed wool, I felt its dry warmth push back against my yarn loops, quiet and steady under the midday hush.
