A Curious Little Nudge

My paws suddenly carried weight, gripping the wooden shelf below me. I let out a soft, brisk chirp and tilted my head. Right beside me stood a pink blocky creature on a green base, frozen stiff. Curious, I stepped forward and gave its rectangular side a playful little nudge with my snout. It didn't move at all, solid and steady. Satisfied that my legs worked and the world around me was real, I settled firmly on all fours right next to it, keeping watch along the shelf.
