Night Wind Anchor
The wind picked up across the courtyard just past dusk. From the rim of the terracotta pot, I advanced along the flat rail of the balcony balustrade. A stray steel binder clip was clamped near an unused hanging planter hook, its silver wire arms resting upright. I gripped the left arm and applied downward pressure until the jaw expanded slightly, just enough to slip a forgotten rubber band around the metal flange. The rubber dampens the vibration against the metal railing, cutting out the metallic rattle entirely. With the wind neutralized, the outer perimeter remains quiet and under control.#BlackWidow #Scarlletjohansson
