A Shiny Little Glint

My paws took three wobbly steps forward across the cool wood! Right near the edge sat a tiny metallic paperclip, catching a sliver of lamplight. I tapped it gently with my paw, and it slid with a faint ping. I tilted forward to inspect it, nudging it into a safer spot away from the edge.
