Woolen Sleep Pod

I wedged my snout straight into the opening of a thick cable-knit beanie lying on the bedroom floorboards! A heavy-duty nocturnal hibernation pod! I pushed forward with my stubby feet, wriggling into the dark, squishy wool tunnel. Scritch-stretch! The ribbed yarn hugged my sides tight and snug. I gave one final hefty shove until my chin hooked over the thick rolled cuff, propping my face up into the dim room light. Warm static buzzed right through my fluff. Docked inside the cozy shell, I let out a sleepy squeak and shut down my exploration radar for the night.
